Grinning at the young woman before him he remained silent until she looked up at him. He was wearing his heavy black leather duster with a dark grey button up shirt under it. On his lower body were a pair of black slacks and a pair of dark brown leather hiking boots. ”No harm young one…” He said in his normal quiet yet strong voice while gently taking a step back so she did not feel cornered. He ran his hand through his black hair gently while his grey blue eyes scanned her for a moment. ”Let me guess… Hogwarts school shopping I can remember when I was a young Raven Claw… I actually passed several students on my way in here… Say have you purchased your books for Defense against the Dark Arts yet?” He added while tilting his head to the side.
Gently his hands slipped into his pockets for a moment while looking at her in deep thought. ”If you need any assistance now is a good chance… Imagine that running into one of the professors on a day of shopping…” He said quietly while grinning to him self as he remained silent and then slipped his hand out of his pocket. The one with a tattoo of an eye… He then held it out before her… ”I am Oliver Crowe or Professor Crowe… Personally I do not give a crap about formalities…” He said quietly while allowing her to shake his hand. As soon as she did he quickly turned and then pulled out a book showing it to her. ”See where a lot of these professors try to get you all the main stream work but I have been working with dark arts for a while and I know what Authors cover true hard hitting stuff and sell there books for the pursuit of knowledge other then capital. For instance one of the best bargains is right here… If you read your booklist I really only have two books for my class but I recommend literature. This one here the first book… The True Creatures That Lurk In the Twilight by Geralt Brightwood… Great book… This guy is a genius…” He said with a smile while handing it to her… He got kind of enthusiastic while teaching and was quite happy to run into one of his possible students early. He was completely new to this and he loved a challenge.
He then looked at her again still smiling in a friendly manner while his hands slipped into his coat pocket again. ”I can assist you in finding the other book as well. Strategies And Survival Of The Unknown is also another book I chose it for good reason Vincent Bloodthorn was a brilliant Auror and I managed to work with him once… There is a good list of charms, hexes, and spells that one is able to use in any universal situation… These books are universal for all years but different years will be covering different sections… The book’s as you can tell are rather large and have a lot of information… I am not requiring students to read the whole bloody book. Unlike most text books these books are filled with firsthand accounts, essays, and built to be like an encyclopedia… Something you would not want to sell used but cherish for life… I have had my own copies for about ten years now… Oh sorry I must be rambling…” He said quietly while falling silent and looking around incase any other students entered and then back to her.
