distinguishing features: his rather curly, blond hair is pretty noticeable, as well as his rather toned abs (but only if you see him with his shirt off)
appearance overview: Braden isn't terribly tall, standing only 5 feet and 10 inches, but he's got a great body, from working out and stuff. He rather prides himself on that, actually. Anyway, he's got a round face with really blue eyes and blond hair that he usually wears on the shaggy side and a little messy. His face is sort of round, I suppose, with sort of beady eyes, some might say. As far as style, he leans toward being sort of preppy. When he's not in uniform, of course. Usually jeans and some sort of preppy looking shirt. He tends to meticulously choose his clothes, so he always looks good. For the most part, he's a pretty good looking kid, and he knows it, so of course his attitude rubs off on his appearance, and he tends to look sort of cocky all the time...

personality overview:
Asshole
This is the side that most people see most of the time. He comes off as a complete ass. And he is! He's not just kidding. He's insulting and can be rude and disrespectful at the best of times, and if he's feeling crappy or frustrated, it's probably better to just stay the heck out of his way.
Loyal
Most people wouldn't know it just looking at him, but Braden is super-loyal. He'd pretty much die for anyone he considers a friend and he'd pick a fight against anyone who tried to talk shit about someone he cares about (despite the fact that he talks shit about other people all the time.)
Hopeless Romantic
He would never tell anyone this,k but he's actually a hopeless romantic. He's gotten the rap as a man-whore but he's actually still a virgin because he actually believes in love. But of course to tell anyone this would be weakness, so nobody has a clue.
Gentleman
Despite all appearances, he's usually pretty polite to women. He won't pick a fight with them most of the time, unless their really, really pissing him off, and even then he'd never actually hit a girl. He might just mouth off, though. This is mostly thanks to his mother, who pretty much beat it into him that you are never, ever rude to a female. He just can't get away from that.

history:
Early Years
Braden probably has one of the most boring histories to ever grace the planet. He was born into a pureblood family, though not exactly the arrogant sort. From the very beginning, he was a holy terror, but he was his father's right hand man, and cameron simply couldn't see to see what an awful kid he was. his mother, did, though, and she tried to make her husband see this on a regular basis without much success, and, without anyone to back her up with punishment and stuff, Braden pretty much just ran wild. He learned from an early age, though, not to be rude to women. It was the one thing his mother couldn't stand, and she beat him within an inch of his life the one and only time he flipped off a girl. He never forgot the lesson and still can't bring himself to be rude to women. He had a certain disrespect for authority, though, obviously, because no one ever followed through with threats and punishment.
Hogwarts
He showed the sings of magic at an early age, doing numerous little things, so it was only natural that he get accepted to Hogwarts. His parents were in Ravenclaw and Slytherin, and as arrogant as he was, no one was horribly surprised when he was accepted into Slytherin. His fourth year, he finally made it onto the Quidditch team, much to his pride, which only proved to feed his arrogance. Of course, he still had a couple close friends that saw the nicer, more polite side of him (because he does have one) and he mostly keeps to himself...unless he's taunting someone, of course.

roleplay sample:
weasley made her way up to the north tower. ever since she had first discovered the place in her first year, it had been a favorite place of hers, a nice place to go and just chill out for a while when things started getting crazy. she found that the place was usually deserted, as there weren't many people willing to climb so many steps to get up there. lucy didn't mind the climb, though. she did it so often that it didn't even bother her anymore, although this was her first time up here since last year, so she wasn't quite as in shape as she would have liked. still, she viewed it as a physical challenge, something she had to master. she had to learn to control her body. she would decide when she was tired enough to stop, her body wouldn't dictate that for her.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------lucy
she had finally made it up to the very top and she stared out the window, standing on tip toe (as she was barely five feet tall) to peer down at the ground so far below. it sort of gave her the willies, really, to be so high up. she wasn't a great fan of heights. she wasn't terrified of them or anything, but they definitely were not her favorite thing in the world. obviously she didn't mind them too terribly or she wouldn't be able to play quidditch. besides, you didn't even think about a petty little thing like height when your ducking bludgers and trying to keep track of everything that was happening. still, this was just a little high, but she didn't mind as long as she didn't look down. and it offered a great view. she loved being high up enough to see for miles. so the whole vertigo thing was a small price to pay for the view.
heaving a slight sigh she slid down to the floor, tipping her head back against the cool stone wall. she could feel the beginnings of a headache, although she wasn't entirely sure why she might be getting one. not like she was overly stressed out or anything...well, wait. that was a lie, she knew. she was stressed about her sister, but enough to get a headache? that seemed a little ridiculous. she's not worth the effort of a headache she told herself, although she knew it wasn't true. molly-willamina, for all her odditites and annoying habits, was still her sister, and that wasn't something that lucy could easily ignore. she couldn't easily ignore the whole family thing with distant relatives, like cousins. if she couldn't do it with them, she certainly couldn't do it to her own sister. and so she knew she'd feel guilty for a while until molly-willamina either pissed her off again, or they got things cleared up. she knew getting pissed was more likely to happen than clearing things up, but it was a nice, sisterly thought, so she thought it.
blue eyes fluttered closed as she ran a hand through her flaming red hair, the picture of frustration. what was she going to do? something? anything? nothing? she didn't know. it wasn't very often that lucy didn't know what to do. she was the confident sort, who always knew exactly what she wanted, and exactly how to get it. to not know something like that completely threw her off balance. a frown crossed her pretty face, a little line appearing between her slim eyebrows. so what if she wasn't sure how to cope? it was nothing more than a new challenge, something she had to learn to deal with. and she would learn, you could mark her words. she would do it. she nodded, feeling minimally more satisfied with anything. at least now she knew sort of what she was doing. she was going to beat the challenge.
