Adrian possesses blue eyes that are both intense and piercing, along with a strong jaw line and thick eyelashes.

- Remorseful: Whenever he does something to hurt someone, he'll apologize if he really cares about them. If he doesn't care about them, well, they're screwed.
- Intelligent: The boy is pretty book smart, and when he is presented with a difficult problem or situation, he is smart enought to be able to find his way through it.
- Charming: He can charm the pants off of anyone. He's had years of practice, and can easily make even the coldest person smile for him.
- Ambitious: If there is something Adrian wants, he will not stop until he gets it. He certainly has the motivation and drive to get what he sets his mind to.

- Protective: Adrian is very protective of people he cares about. His best friends are sometimes viewed as *his*, and really can't stand it when anyone else messes with them.
weaknesses:
- Bipolar: Adrian has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Because of this, his emotions are somewhat unstable. Once in a while he will go outside of his normal personality and get an array of erratic emotions ranging from depression, anger, mania, etc. It causes people to shy away from him.
- Possessive: Sometimes Adrian can get pretty possessive of his friends and lovers, often pushing away other people that seem to be getting close to them.
- Eye for Trouble: Adrian can't seem to keep himself clean, and does things that get him into trouble whether it's with friends, family, or authority.
- Unpredictable: Because of his bipolar disorder, you never know when Adrian is going to freak out. You might think he is going to do one thing, but can do the complete opposite.

goals: To work for the muggle or wizarding (he's not too picky) foreign embassy being a Spanish or Japanese interpreter.
fears: Bats, trolls, spiders, and closed spaces.
patronus: A silverback gorilla. Because they are very human like, but still quite beastly and intimidating.. the way Adrian feels most of the time because of his disorder.
personality overview: Adrian does not like himself. The fact that he is bipolar haunts him every day, and he cannot stand the person it makes him sometimes. Adrian really does not like being so forceful, mean, spiteful, and downright nasty. His disorder makes him this way, and it drives him crazy. Despite this, he still refuses to take his medication. He tries to be strong and get through it, but he really thinks he is a lot weaker than he really is. Adrian does think he is fairly attractive physically, but he knows his disorder ruins everything. People think Adrian is intimidating, to say the least. If they do not understand that he is bipolar, a lot of people think he is just a jerk who is nice most of the time but is randomly intolerable for no reason. People who do take the time to get to know him, know that Adrian does have a nice, creative, gentle, and caring side to him. Adrian is quite sociable, but his disorder pushes people who do not understand it away from him. Even people that do understand often leave him be because they cannot or do not want to handle it. He is quite flirtacious and will flirt with someone who sticks around long enough. All in all, Adrian as a few good friends but he really isn't very popular despite his sociable nature.

history:
Adrian Calixto Atwood was the first child and only male to be born to Darrell and Colleen Atwood in Belfast, Ireland. Yes, this does mean that he speaks with an Irish accent. For three years, Adrian was the apple of his parents' eye and he was a rather spoiled toddler to say the least. He was bright eyed, and always smiling as a baby and it brought everyone to love him.
Thankfully, when Adrian's sister Trista was born, he didn't display too much jealousy or hatred towards her. In fact, Adrian seemed rather joyous at the fact that he would have a younger sibling to help his mum take care of. Even though he would have much rather have had a brother, Adrian quickly became protective over Trista even at a young age. He remains quite protective over her to this day.
When Adrian was nine years old, he displayed his first hint of magical skill. Quite on accident, actually. He was playing with the family dog, a Boston Terrior, when he accidentally set her hair on fire. To say that the entire family was alarmed and terrified at the prospect of almost losing their beloved pet was an understatement, but Adrian's parents knew it was an accident and he didn't get into too much trouble.
At the age of eleven, Adrian received his Hogwarts letter. Of course, he was ecstatic. Who doesn't want to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? It was on the train to the school that Adrian met his best friend, Caleb. The two were sorted into the same house and practically became inseperable.
Adrian did well with his grades the first few years of Hogwarts. In his third year he joined both the Quidditch team and the Dueling Club. Several times he helped lead his quidditch team to victories alongside Caleb.
However, in Adrian's fifth year, something terrible happened. People began to notice that sometimes he would have these bad mood swings for no reason. At first, it was brushed off as a phase that Adrian was going through. However, they gradually started to get more and more serious, and just a tad bit violent. Not even Adrian understood what was going on. During Quidditch practice one evening, Adrian and Caleb got into a verbal scuffle. Without warning, Adrian flew at his best friend and tackled him to the ground. The two beat each other practically senseless before people managed to pull them off.
Their friendship would never be the same. Not only did Caleb refuse to talk to him ever again, but Adrian was kicked off of the Quidditch team. It wasn't until this year that he was finally able to convince his head of house to let him back on.

roleplay sample:
Jasper felt pretty good today. It'd been a while since he'd had any serious issues pertainting to his disorder, and he was beginning to have hope that perhaps he was finally getting it under control on his own. He plopped down onto an oversized chair in front of the fireplace of his common room, leaning back comfortably. He was glad classes were over for the day, because he had started to get really bored towards the end. Boredom was never a good thing for Jasper, because he always found ways to deal with it that weren't quite what the rules allowed.
He yawned, stretching out and grinning as his horrible cat Bitchface took a running leap onto his lap. The cat meowed moodily, pawing at Jasper's arm. Jasper smirked. He loved to torture the cat because he was so foul. "What do you want, Bitchface?" The cat meowed again. "Nope, sorry.. I decided I was never going to feed you again." Despite this sentence, Jasper ran his fingers across Bitchface's bald head and reached into his pocket, taking out a package of candy. Yes, he fed his cat candy to get him to shut up. Carelessly, Jasper tossed the candy on the floor and the cat jumped after it greedily.
Free of Bitchface for now until he wanted more, Jasper leant back onto the chair. He wondered briefly where Rhys was. The two seemed to finish their classes around relatively the same time. Leaning over the edge of the chair, he decided to steal the owl that had just flown in to deliver a message to another student. Pulling parchment from his carelessly discarded bag, Jasper scribbled Hey loser! and added a skull stabbing a smiley face just below it. Then he wrote What's up? before folding up the parchment and sending it off to Rhys.
